Pet beds collect hair, dirt and odours quickly, but washing them incorrectly can damage fillings, waterproof layers or non-slip bases. Start with the care label and product-specific instructions.
Remove loose dirt first
Vacuum or shake out hair and debris before washing. If the cover is removable, wash it separately when the instructions allow.
Dry thoroughly
Moisture trapped inside thick padding can create odour and deterioration. Allow the bed to dry completely before returning it to your pet.
Inspect seams, zips and filling after every wash. Replace the bed if damaged parts could be chewed or swallowed.
